Frolicking in the Fallen Leaves

We have 2 trees in our front yard that are shedding their leaves like crazy. The kids love it!

Same Examples, but Bigger!

Final version of the photo...I played with the levels and hue/saturation layers

Photograph subsequent to Action (no adjustments made)

Original Version
Blogger cooperated with me afterall! Here are the bigger versions of my previous sample.

Want to See a Sample?

Remember that little action I was telling you about...the one from CottageArts? Well, I had a chance to use it and here are my results.

I started with what I thought was a good photo. Then I ran the action and what you see in the middle is exactly how it came out after the action.

The last photo on the right is the same one after the action, but I played with the levels and hue/saturation levels. I think I went a bit oversaturated in this sample, but if I tone it down just a tiny bit, his face won't be so pinkish and I will have a great photo.

I wi sh I could show you the bigger versions, but Blogger is having problems at the moment and I can't upload them. Oh well, even if this is small, it is better than no samples at all.

Did You Hear a Crash Last Night?

Did you hear a loud, crashing noise last night at about 9:30 p.m.? If you did, that was me! I hadn't been feeling well at all all day. I had a freaking headache when I got up in the morning and even after taking medication, it was lingering. These headaches last ALL FREAKING DAY, sometimes for 2 or 3 days at a time. So needless to say, I am not a happy camper.

After supper, I just sat on the couch with the kids and felt like I was going to explode. I had a sickening feeling on the pit of my stomach and couldn't even stand myself?

So, I did something I haven't done in ages - I was in bed by 9:30 p.m. I slept through the night and am feeling better this morning.

It is a warm day here in South Jersey...we are having an Indian Summer.

Oh, yes, before I forget, Liam was good in school today! Nothing like the promise of a water ice at the end of the week to make a greedy little boy behave in school! LOL

Kaylie and Mommy Day

I made it a point to go out with Kaylie, just the two of us. While dh and Liam went grocery shopping. I had invited Liam to come with us, but he didn't want to come.

I took Kaylie to a farm so she could pick out her pumpkins and then took her to the playground. Here are a few of the pictures I took.
