These layouts were featured in the Page Maps Jan. 2008 newsltr.

This is the page I made for Liam.

A couple of weeks ago I did a layout of Liam building his gingerbread house, so of course, I had to make one of Kaylie, too. This is the first time in a long time that I make 3 pages about one single event.

Christmas Cheer is Here to Stay.

I figure since we are all in Christmas mode, that I should have the music to liven up the blog a bit.

For your enjoyment, I have selected (with the help of Liam, of course) a variety of songs to put you in a festive mood.

Enjoy!
P.S. If you don't like the one currently playing, fast forward to other selections.

It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas

Aren't these the cutest decorations ever? I love the felt penguin and snowmen. I especially like the Santa ornament...pay close attention to the pet on Santa's shoulder...it looks like a Chihuahua. I have a Chihuahua...

Snowflake, holly and presents: Holiday Puffy Stickers by Julie Mead/CottageArts.
Note: I altered the stickers by removing the puffiness. I also recolored the presents. I recolored the snowflake and added a highlight layer to the star to make it glow.

Note: I extracted a branch from the tree and layered the branches on the tree to achieve a fuller look. I also reduced the size of the stars, holly leaves and lights.

My Pride and Joy

Another old layout redone.

Journaling: "Christmas time is wonderful now that I have you. I love to see your faces of enthusiasm and wonder. Everything is extra special for you and you can’t wait to enjoy it. You know that it is a time to spend with family, be good to our neighbors and be the best we can be. I don’t know what I did to deserve such happiness. You are my pride and joy and am happiest when you are with me."

The Santa Hat

Papa Liam? Liam loved wearing this Santa hat. Christmas Is

Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year as far as Kaylie is concerned. She loves decorating the house and putting up the garland. She is especially fond of the garland as a personal accessory. For her fashion show, she modeled it as a hat, a necklace, a bracelet and earrings. 11-30-2005Holly Jolly Collaboration kit by the designers of TheDigiChickhttp://www.thedigichick.com/boutique/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=1185Layered sketch by Christine Smith.
