Just Another Lazy Day...

In case you can't tell, I am enamored with Lorie's Bouncing Bunnies and Brownies collection. It is so whimsical and fun, I love it to pieces. And have you seen ON's Bubbles? I can't tell where the real bubbles from the photo end and the ones by ON begin. They are that good.

Snowflake, holly and presents: Holiday Puffy Stickers by Julie Mead/CottageArts.

http://cottagearts-net.stores.yahoo.net/hopust.html

Note: I altered the stickers by removing the puffiness. I also recolored the presents. I recolored the snowflake and added a highlight layer to the star to make it glow.

Tree/Joyeux Noel Duex Page Pak by Julie Mead/CottageArts

http://cottagearts-net.stores.yahoo.net/jonodupapak.html

Note: I extracted a branch from the tree and layered the branches on the tree to achieve a fuller look. I also reduced the size of the stars, holly leaves and lights.

Extreme Makeover

Every Sunday, faithfully, my dh and kids watch America's Funniest Videos and Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. Kaylie listens to the family's story of misfortune and invariable ends up crying. Liam, on the other hand, loves to watch Ty Pennington screaming on the bullhorn running around like a wild man. But I digress, the purpose of the preceeding information is to make you realize that that is where the inspiration for this page came from.

Extreme makeover in the fact that Liam, who is only 5 years old and in Kindergarten, thought to dress up the turkey as Santa. We printed papers and embellishents from Bren's kit and started disguising the turkey. Cotton balls, foam and staples where also used. The same digital papers that were used to make the turkey, were used in my scrapbook page. How is that for coordination?

P.S. The minute that Liam heard the title of the page, he got a huge smile on his face and then he was grinning. He thought it was so cool..

Meander by KSharonK Designs

http://artisticmusings.typepad.com/artistic_musings/2007/10/meander-a-momen.html

Wow, the sampler is so pretty but the actual kit is fabulous. It has my most favorite colors...brown, orange, blue and green...a must have! Check it out at her store.

New Layout: The Miracle of Life

A few days ago my friend, Maddy, sent in a layout showing her brand new granddaughter sleeping. It was so sweet and made me think of this photo of my little princess sleeping. While I have scrapped this photo once before, this is the final time I will do so. I am satisfied with this one and don't need further revisions or remakes. Do you agree with me?

Let me tell you that this kit of Bren Boone is fab! The colors are "oh so pretty." The kit does not have pink but that is not a problem since I was able to recolor one of the papers to suit me. I love each and every one of her kits...they are so gorgeous and fabulously designed. Her prices are reasonable and her quality is unmatched. If you haven't tried her designs, you don't know what you are missing. Once you buy one of her kits, you will be hooked for life.

Template by Andrea Gold

Andrea has been making templates left and right for quite a while now...and I don't mean left and right as in directional, I mean it in the sense that she makes a LOT of them. She shares them for free before she bundles them up to sell at her store. Not many designers do that...but she does. She has quite a following, and rightly so. Great job Andrea and thank you for your generosity. If you download, be courteous and leave her a comment.

It's All Good by Michelle Coleman

I have been a long time fan of Michelle Coleman. Back when she had her own store titled Second Mile Designs, then went to ScrapArtist, and now that she has her store, LittleDreamerDesigns, which she owns with her sister, Lori Barnhurst, formerly of Artist Artist, and ScrapsyDaisy before that! Wow, that is a lot of history! Anyway, she is supertalented and I just love, love, love her designs. Here is a little sampler to whet your creative appetite.
