Another page for the memorial book...Mom’s favorite season was Autumn. She enjoyed the cooler weather and the changing of color of the leaves. She especially like the fiery red and orange leaves. She used to tell me that when she was younger, and still living in Puerto Rico, someone had traveled to the U.S. and brought back a postcard with scenery such as this one. She couldn’t believe that it was real; she thought it was a painting. She never imagined that later in her life she would actually get the chance to see it in person.
